Outside my window.... sunny and warm. We're into the hot days of summer now.
I am thinking.... of things I have to do this week.
I am thankful.... for God's provision.
In the kitchen.... chicken and perhaps dumplings
I am wearing.... blue shorts and a striped matching top
I am creating.... a menu for this week.
I am going.... lots of errands tomorrow and a doctor appointment for Mom on Wednesday
I am wondering.... if the doctor will put Mom on some medication to help with her confusion.
I am reading.... Fire On The Altar and my bible
I am hoping.... that this hurricane season will be mild.
I am looking forward to.... a vacation, probably in November.
I am learning.... a whole new way of cooking.
Around the house.... quiet right now. Mandy is dozing and Mom is outside on the porch.
I am pondering.... Mom's upcoming doctor appointment.
One of my favorite things.... a day at Disney World with friends.

A peek into my day…
I'm not very good with plants but I am proud that the african violet that was given to me last July has finally bloomed! In fact, since this photo was taken last week, two more blooms have appeared.
Congrats on a blooming african violet. I just gave 3 away to a neighbor who has much better luck with them than I do.
