Happy Wedding Anniversary!

Yesterday, my daughter Jill and SIL Kent celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary!  It just doesn't seem possible that it could be that long! What a special couple they are - still madly in love with the Lord and with each other.

I remember the day they married. Jill was very young and emotionally I was not  ready for her to leave the nest. I was happy to see her so happy and grateful for my new SIL. But, there was a hole in my heart and it hurt. And to top it off, they were only married less than 6 months when Kent received a job transfer that moved them 5 hours away from me. Mom was not happy!  Throughout the years, they have weathered the usual storms relying on their trust in God and their love for each other. They have 3 wonderful children - Caleb who is now married to Erin, Candace who graduated from high school this year and Molly set to graduate in 2012.

So Happy Anniversary, you two. I love you both very much!
